I've been following the work of Breanna Musgrove of Scout & Catalogue for over a year now and have really admired the progression of her collections, especially her line of leather bags and totes. I've been on the hunt for a small wallet / coin purse and came across these beauties—I've got my eye on this one in particular.

I get a little teary eyed just thinking about how fast time is flying by. I swear it feels like it was just yesterday that I was sitting on the edge of our bed, on the afternoon of my 27th birthday, amazed to find that we were going to be expecting a little one. And now here we are, 7.5 months later collecting tiny clothes, setting up the nursery, and preparing ourselves for parenthood. It's funny how things work out—I predicted that a lot of change would come our way this year, and what a world of difference even 7 months can make!

My mind has been swirling with baby related to-do lists, questions and anxiety about motherhood, and thoughts about how our lives will change when we become a family of three. Daniel constantly reminds me that as eager parents-to-be, we'll do our very best to find a rhythm that works for us, and take it one day at a time.

Aside from being the typical worry-wort, I've been really enjoying my pregnancy and the milestones that come along with it. I couldn't be more proud of my big baby bump.

I happily stumbled upon these beauties while surfing one of my favorite blogs and felt the need to share. Named after the designer, the Paloma Wool project is a collection of beautifully structured garments inspired by the idea of "the space and thoughts that are created around the daily act of getting dressed." Proudly made in Spain, you can take a peek at the rest of the pieces from the project, here.

It's funny how certain situations in life come full circle.

Nearly 6 years ago, I was sitting in my dressing room all dolled up in my gown and staring at my wedding vows. I had written them a few nights before and kept debating whether I was missing anything. Feeling anxious, I remember taking a deep breath and thinking back on when Daniel and I first met. I smiled while reflecting on how so much had changed within a matter of a year. I ended up writing down a few more promises and a few hours later we both happily vowed, "I do". After a month or so, we packed up what little we had, said goodbye to family and friends and moved across the country for a new beginning. It's been just the two of us ever since.

And now the two of us are about to become three.

I'm so happy that we've had the time and freedom to discover and explore the world together. We've had incredible adventures, managed to ride through the bumpy tides of life, and in the process, learned a lot about each other and ourselves. I am forever grateful for our time as just the two of us.

Today marks the start of my third trimester. Each morning I wake up to the feeling of sweet little baby kicks and I can't help but feel eternally grateful for the opportunity to carry and nourish someone so tiny and profound. At 28 weeks, my pregnancy has been a welcomed lesson in learning how to fully relinquish, entrust, and become flexible. I can only imagine what the journey of parenthood will teach us...
