Hi, I'm Camille E. Trummer and I write Modern Mix — a visual journal and digital inspiration board with a focus on lifestyle, art, and design. I like to think of this space as an always evolving home for all of the beautiful and creative things that inspire me.

I write stories, take photographs, travel around the globe, and work with youth to try to create communities that make a positive difference in our social world.

I was born in Portland, raised in Seattle, and currently live in Chicago with my partner, Daniel Trummer, and our 3-year-old pup, Huey. We call Frankfurt, Germany our second home.
